Temporary Compression
KEEP GAS MOVING WHEN THE STATION IS DOWN.
Maintenance has to happen. Losing throughput while it does is a choice. WeldFit stages mobile compression alongside your outage so gas keeps moving on the schedule you already committed to.
Whether the window is a weekend or a full season, the same fleet and the same crews cover it — mobilized for the duration and gone when the permanent equipment comes back online.
Temporary compression is one application of our fleet. See Mobile Compression Services for the full range.
WHEN THE PERMANENT EQUIPMENT ISN’T AVAILABLE
Most temporary compression is booked months ahead against a known outage. Some of it is booked the same week. We plan for both.

EMERGENCY COMPRESSION
Equipment failures and pipeline incidents do not wait for a purchase order. When a unit fails unexpectedly or an incident forces an unplanned isolation, the clock starts immediately and every hour is throughput on the floor.
Our fleet is staged for rapid mobilization and our crews are used to arriving into a situation that is already underway. Call the number below and we will tell you honestly what can be on location and when.
Typical emergency scope
- Unplanned compressor or station failure
- Pipeline incidents requiring immediate isolation
- Unexpected outages extending beyond the planned window
- Rapid depressurization ahead of repair crews
