About Us
Established more than 50 years ago, WeldFit helps pipeline operators get more out of every asset. Our work spans three areas: pipeline intervention, flow assurance and mobile compression. We understand that products and services are only as strong as the people behind them.
We manufacture carbon steel hot tap and line stop fittings at our Houston, Texas facility, and stage crews and equipment from hubs across North America, including our Canadian Service Centre in Acheson, Alberta. We are ISO certified, so you can depend on the safety and reliability of our products and services.
From safeguarding the largest transmission networks to maintaining the distribution lines that deliver energy directly to homes and communities, we help keep critical energy infrastructure operating safely, efficiently and without interruption.
There’s no room for compromise when it comes to safe, effective and compliant hot tap and line stop services, and quality fittings. Along with Dually®, our groundbreaking double block & bleed line stop system, WeldFit’s experienced and highly trained technicians bring confidence to our customers’ mission-critical projects. Put WeldFit to work for your operation with solid hot tap and line stop support on maintenance, tie-in, repair and in-service welding projects.
We work harder so you can work smarter. Our SureLaunch® multi-pig launching systems make pipelines more productive while lowering operating costs, improving technician safety and reducing methane emissions. With more units in the field than any other automated pipeline pigging system, SureLaunch has set the industry standard in streamlining pipeline pigging operations through automation.
The SureLaunch® pig (SLp) completes the system. Engineered as a single piece from abrasion- and chemical-resistant polyurethane and available in 6” to 24” diameters, its three-cup configuration holds a full-wall seal for liquid removal in wet gas systems and paraffin and debris mitigation in crude oil lines. Its stackable design launches cleanly in multi-pig systems with no backing plates and no loose hardware in the pipeline.
By integrating SureLaunch with our harp-style slug catchers, customers can optimize pipeline pigging and liquids handling for more control over risk, equipment costs, safety and emissions. Our pigging services crews run the work in the field.
Our mobile compression fleet keeps gas moving when the permanent equipment can’t. Five trailer-mounted configurations cover the full pressure curve, from 370,000 SCFD up to 28,000,000 SCFD, handling cross compression during blowdowns, booster service on constrained systems, temporary coverage through planned outages and pressure support during demand peaks.
ReCAP® cross compression remains the flagship. With patented XR Technology and Straight-Line™ predictability, it is the industry-leading alternative to venting or flaring during common pipeline operations, keeping gas in the pipeline and reducing GHG emissions from those events by nearly 100%. Select ReCAP models are also available for purchase.
Manufacturing in Houston, Texas. Mobile compression hubs in California, Kansas, Texas and Kentucky. Our Canadian Service Centre in Acheson, Alberta, just west of Edmonton, stages equipment and crews for work across the western provinces.
Our crews also support projects internationally.
