The Technology

At the heart of the ReCAP® cross compression system is its XR technology that safely controls the transfer rate of methane captured from isolated pipeline sections to adjacent pressurized systems. The state-of-the-art XR technology allows for the efficient and predictable recovery and transfer of natural gas into the live pipeline through cross compression at a constant rate, no matter the pressure differential, from 1440 PSIG and down, as the pressure levels drop. That speeds up the cross compression process without compromising recovery rates. The system is designed to reduce emissions by up to 99.99% in some cases when compared to venting or flaring.
