Double Studded Adapter Flanges
A Double Studded Adapter (DSA) is commonly used to connect flanges with different nominal sizes, pressure ratings, and configurations. For example, a DSA can be used to connect an API 6A 7 1/16 10M flange to an API 6A 5 1/8 5M flange. Although most commonly used to connect API 6A style flanges, WeldFit can design and manufacture DSA's for any combination of API, ASME, MSS and other flange styles.

- Custom DSA's are available to transition between API, ASME, MSS or other styles of flanges
- Supplied with standard or customer specific thicknesses
- Normally provided with tap-end studs and nuts
- Available for general service and sour service in compliance with any temperature rating and material requirements specified in API Specification 6A
- Available with Stainless Steel 316L or Inconel 625 corrosion resistant ring grooves
- Manufactured in compliance with WeldFit’s API and ISO 9001:2008 certified quality program

- Required thickness, if non-standard
