The nipple material on standard fittings is ASTM A333 Grade 6 which is suitable for most applications. The plug is brass with a 3/4" socket and retaining groove for installation using most standard plugging machines used in small diamter plugging operations. The fitting is rated to 300#. These fittings can be supplied in 300 series stainless steel, some alloys, and Duplex steel. The standard o-ring is Nitrile (Buna-N) 70 durometer hardness. Other elastomers can be supllied upon request.
