Weldfit Flow Tees are designed to the specific customer needs. Guide tubes are alotted to allow for the maximum allowable fluid flow while maintaining sufficient restraint to contain scrapers, batching pigs, and spheres. The usual open area of the slotted guide tube is 1.5 times the flow opening area of the outlet. A generous annulus is provided to minimize pressure drop due to flow restrictions in the body of the fitting.       End caps are manufactured from forgings that are designed to match the physical properties of the pipeline to which the flow tee is to be attached. These materials can be provided in yield strengths up to 65,000 psi.       All assemblies are made by welders qualified under the provisions of ASME Section IX. Pressure boundary welds are 100% radiographed in compliance with the applicable B31 piping code.       When special materials or dimensions are needed for the application, Weldfit's designer is ready to assist in meeting those needs.
