Full Encirclement High Strength Saddles

D = Pipeline Diameter + 1/8" d = Branch Diameter + 1/8" L = 2d MIN       All full encirclement reinforcing saddles are manufactured to the specific application of the customer. Some sections of the ASME B31 Codes require this type of reinforcement member when the pipe diameter of the pipe intersecting the line pipe exceeds 50% of the diameter of the line pipe. This type of reinforcement is also often preferred in congfigurations subject to high external stresses due to thermal differentials and/or high pulse loading such as the shaking forces encountered in pulsation suppression devices.
